Sunblock at the ready for Easter getaway giveaway

A TASTY chocolate treat is the best most egg hunters can hope for this Bank Holiday weekend but a special promotion is promising to reward searchers with a surprise Easter suntan.

Yorkshire-based airline Jet2.com is giving away Jet2Holidays and a free flights to some of its most popular destinations for the winners of a ‘Great Eggscape’ egg hunt.

The Easter getaway holiday giveaway takes place between Good Friday and Easter Monday when 12 eggs will be hidden across the Jet2Holidays website ( easter.jet2holidays.com ). Participants simply have to follow a series of clues to find the eggs and put themselves in with the chance of winning one of eight free holidays or a Jet2.com flight.

The promotion was launched on one of the busiest days of the year at Leeds-Bradford Airport earlier today when the Easter bunny hopped into the departure lounge to give away hundreds of chocolate eggs to excited passengers.

Steve Heapy, the chief executives of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “What better way to celebrate the start of Easter than by treating our customers to a chocolate surprise? The Easter bunny certainly put an extra spring in the steps of our passengers as they prepared to jet off this morning on their sun and city breaks.
