Weird and wonderful outfits still on parade in Whitby despite cancellation of goth festivals

The second of this year's planned Whitby Goth Weekend and Tomorrow's Ghosts festivals were cancelled despite hopes in the summer that restrictions would have relaxed enough for them to go ahead. Despite the lack of live music and organised events, many goths had already booked accommodation and travelled to Whitby anyway to take part in one of the scene's enduring traditions - a stroll around the town in gothic or steampunk finery.
