The exhibits will include the winners in a range of categories, the names of which will be announced at a private preview on the eve of the public opening.

This year, the eight print classes includes a new “set subject” category – the theme this year being Our Town.

The other sections are: general colour (pictorial/portrait/ sport/action); general monochrome (as before); applied colour (natural history and record); applied mono (as before); and entry level colour (for relative beginners and new club members).

There is also author’s panel, a non-competitive section for members to present a group of prints on a theme or using a particular technique.

Winners will be announced at the preview in Huddersfield Art Gallery on March 18. The exhibition is on until April 10, Monday to Friday 10am- 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm.
