Pipers call the tune
Members of six pipe bands march from Blythswood Square to George Square in Glasgow ahead of the World Pipe Band Championships being held in the city this weekend.
Almost 240 pipe bands featuring more than 8,000 pipers and drummers
will play in front of fans from all over the world.
The championships also play host to the fiercely contested Drum Major competition, Highland Dancing and the Glasgow World Highland Games.
