It was Aces High in the skies above Liverpool yesterday when the Reds took off for their Europa League game against Napoli with Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson piloting their plane.

The rocker, who has had a pilot’s licence for years, regularly flies for charter airline Astraeus.
A spokesman for Liverpool FC confirmed the singer was flying the team to Italy. Dickinson is also an accomplished fencer and novelist.
