Plea to rail bosses to rethink '˜flawed' proposed changes to railway timetables in Yorkshire
The controversial timetable changes proposed for May 2018 will build on a planned new structure for which will take effect from December this year.
A spokesman for Northern said the proposals are part of a modernisation of its network.
“As part of the ambitious modernisation of the Northern network we are currently consulting with our stakeholders on enhancements to timetables across the north of England,” the spokesman said.
“The consultation process is now in its final stages, where we are working to take on board feedback from a wide range of industry stakeholders.”
