Pocklington: CCTV of serial slasher who targeted 140 cars in one small town

All the tyres were damaged on the nights of Wednesday and Thursday last week in Pocklington, Humberside Police said.

A spokesman said the investigation has identified the time of 1am to 2.30am as being the peak activity for the vandal.

He said: “Police have now received 140 reports of vehicles having had tyres intentionally punctured across the town.

“Following the incidents, extra reassurance patrols have been taking place in the area.”

Officers have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

He is described as a white man of slim to medium build and short dark hair which is balding on top. He may have been using a white van, the police said.
