Police appeal for missing man

POLICE are appealing for a missing man to come forward and seek medical attention after he went missing from a Leeds hospital.

The man, who gave his name as James Conteh, claimed to be the son of the former Olympic boxing champion John Conteh, was last seen leaving St James' Hospital on Tuesday 19 October.

The unknown man left the hospital after telling staff he'd been discharged even though he still had a central line tube into his chest.

This tube needs to be removed by medical staff and it can be highly dangerous to attempt to remove it yourself.

The man was caught on CCTV leaving the hospital at 3.49pm and is described as a white male aged in his early to mid thirties, 5ft 8" in height, short black straight hair and medium build.

He was wearing a striped pink shirt, black trousers and military style black boots. He was also wearing a dark coloured belt with a distinctive silver buckle.
