Police appeal for missing mother and child

Philomena Simpson was last seen around 4.30pm on Tuesday 5 April 2011, in the Parkhead/Bents Green area taking her 3-year-old daughter Francesca for a walk. After failing to return home that day the police were contacted.

Philomena is described as black and tall. She was last seen wearing a head scarf, a black leather outfit and high heels.

Francesca is described as black with a light skin tone, round face, with black hair, brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a navy coloured coat, which had bright pink flowers on and a fluffy hood, a short sleeved pink spotted top, pink ¾ length leggings and pink shoes.

Police are concerned for the welfare of Philomena and Francesca and appeal to anyone with information concerning their whereabouts and appeal for Philomena directly to contact the police to ensure they are both safe and well.
