Police appeal over injured woman

It is thought the 41-year-old may have been hit by a vehicle in Frome Road at the junction with Waveney Road, some time between 10pm and 10.30pm last Sunday.

She was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police have conducted house-to-house inquiries but have yet to establish what happened.

The woman is described as 5ft 3in tall and slim with shoulder-length curly blonde and ginger hair.

She was wearing a black and white dress, leggings, black high heels and a black jacket and was carrying a black leather handbag.

A man aged 46 was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail.
