A senior police officer has denied stealing make-up worth £12.72 from a Tesco store.

Chief Inspector Kim Molloy, from Nottinghamshire Police, will now stand trial in a crown court accused of one count of theft. The 44-year-old appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
