Police concerned for missing 15-year-old Dewsbury girl

POLICE are appealing for information about the whereabouts of a 15-year-old girl who has been reported missing from home in Dewsbury.

Candice Parkin was last seen by a friend at around 8pm on Tuesday on Huddersfield Road, Ravensthorpe.

It is not known if she got in to a vehicle but when last seen she was walking towards Huddersfield.

She is described as a 5ft 5in tall slim white girl with a tanned complexion. She has shoulder-length hair, coloured a pink/red colour on the top half and ginger/brown on the bottom half.

She has her ears pierced three times in each ear and piercings to her lower lip, tongue, nose and naval and a tattoo of a dolphin on her upper right arm.

She was last seen wearing light blue high waisted jeans, a beige top, a grey jumper with a brown logo on the front, blue and white high top trainers and was carrying a black bag.

PC Hayley Broadhead, of Kirklees District Police, said: “Police and family are concerned for Candice’s welfare and we need to establish that she is safe and well.

“We would urge anyone who has seen Candice or with information about where she might be to call police via 101.

“Similarly, if Candice herself becomes aware of this appeal, we would urge her to make contact with us or her family to let us know she is okay.”
