Police defend actions over 'torment' victim
Police in Greater Manchester have been defending their actions after a 64-year-old man with learning difficulties was "tormented to death" by gangs of yobs.
Neighbours have claimed that the authorities had been warned that David Askew was being targeted for years before he died on Wednesday.
