Police hunt robber who targeted teenage girl in Sheffield

A ROBBER threatened a 16-year-old girl before stealing her mobile phone at the Meadowhall rail Interchange in Sheffield.

Police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened as the girl was walking through the interchange towards Tyler Street at around 10.30 yesterday morning. (Thursday November 5)

Officers believe the man left the area along Tyler Street, turning left towards Roman Ridge Road.

The girl was not injured but was left shaken by the incident.

The man is described as eastern European, clean shaven and aged between 16 to 20.

He was reportedly wearing a grey hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down the side.

Call police on 101 quoting incident number 467 of Thursday 5 November.
