Police hunting for missing girl, 12, believed to be in Hull after disappearing from Huddersfield

Humberside Police said they were 'urgently' looking for Summer Brewitt as they issued an appeal for information on her whereabouts.

A spokesman said: "Summer was reported missing from her address in Huddersfield yesterday evening and is now thought to be in the east Hull area where she is known to have family.

"We are concerned for Summer due to her age and need to confirm that she is safe."

Summer is described as white, with very long blonde/ginger hair which she wears in a ponytail.

She has a fair complexion and was wearing black jeans, a black jumper, a green khaki parka with fur and black trainers when last seen.

Officers are urging Summer or anyone who knows where she is to get in touch with Humberside Police as soon as possible on 101, quoting log number 470 of 27 July.
