Police in Halifax concerned for missing 16-year-old girl

POLICE in Halifax are appealing for information to trace missing 16-year-old girl Marika Pompova.

Marika (pictured) was last seen on Essex Street, Halifax, on Monday April 18.

She is described as white, 5ft 2in tall. of medium build with medium length dark brown wavy hair.

She has an eastern European accent and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a black and gold full bodysuit and black trainers with silver toe caps.

Detective Inspector Dave Shaw of West Yorkshire Police, said: “I appeal to anyone who has seen or heard from Marika since Monday 18th April, or who has information about her whereabouts, to contact us. We are concerned for Marika‘s safety and welfare as this is out of character.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact the Calderdale Safeguarding Team via 101 and quote log number 0213 of 19th April 2016.”
