Police launch appeal after theft from historic site near Knaresborough
A police appeal has been launched following the theft of lead from a historic temple's roof.
North Yorkshire Police's Rural Taskforce said the lead was stolen from a temple in the grounds of Allerton Castle some time between March 29 and 31.
Anyone who has any information about the incident can call 101, quoting reference number NYP-31032018-0336.
