Police launch European hunt after dad and two sons go missing on way back from Sheffield

POLICE are appealing for help in finding a father and his twin sons who were reported missing a week ago.

Andrew Wall, 40, from Immingham, North East Lincs, was reported missing by his partner along with their six-year-old twin sons Liam and Ciaran, after they all failed to return from a family trip to Sheffield on Tuesday June 15.

Police believe Mr Wall and his sons later boarded a Eurostar train at St Pancras Station in London at around 5.30pm the following day, which took them directly into Europe.

They arrived at a railway station in Brussels the same day, but it is not known where they went after

leaving the station.

Mr Wall has spoken to family members since being reported missing, but officers are keen to locate him and his sons to confirm their welfare.

Police say they have no reason to suspect the children are in any immediate danger.

Detectives from Humberside Police have been working with police officers in Brussels as they try to identify where Mr Wall and his sons went after leaving the railway station. It is thought Mr Wall also has possible connections in Germany.

Mr Wall is a distinctive man described as white, approximately 6ft 5in tall, heavy build, with dark brown coloured receding hair and a moustache.

Six-year-old Liam Peasley is described as being around 3ft 5in tall, of small build, with black coloured hair. He was last seen wearing a T-shirt, black coloured tracksuit bottoms and an Aston Villa Football Club jacket.

Ciaran Peasley is described as being around 3ft 6in tall, again of small build but with blonde coloured hair. He was also last seen wearing a T-shirt with black coloured tracksuit bottoms and an Aston Villa Football Club jacket.

Detective Superintendent Dena Fleming who is heading the investigation said: "Mr Wall is a loving father who has seemingly taken his two sons away to spend some time alone with them, however he has not told any other family members where he has gone and for that reason we are very keen to locate him and his

two sons.

"Having failed to return home from a trip to Sheffield, we quickly established Mr Wall boarded a train at Kings Cross St Pancras on Wednesday 16 June at around 1730hrs which took him and his sons into Europe and they got off in Brussels at around 2030hrs (CET) the same day however up to now, we have had no further sightings of them since they left the railway station that day.

"We have no reason to suspect the children are in any immediate danger at this time as they are a close family however we are very keen to locate Mr Wall in order to confirm that the boys are safe and well.

"It is important we keep this incident in some form of perspective as we work to try and locate Andrew, Ciaran and Liam as we have no reason to think the boys are in any danger but I would urge any friends, family members or members of the public, particularly in Europe to contact police right away and help us to

find them sooner rather than later.

"I would also ask Mr Wall himself to get in touch if not with us then with his partner just to let us know where you are as it goes without saying that the rest of the family are growing more concerned as the days go by.

"We also understand Mr Wall has possible contacts in Germany which shows the magnitude of how much potential ground we have to cover. For this reason alone, any information at this time no matter how small it may seem is vital."

Anyone with information relating to the current whereabouts of Mr Wall should contact the Humberside Police directly on 00 44 1472
