Police make appeal to find missing teenager

Martina, who is known as Tina, 15, was last seen at around 10.30am yesterday after leaving her home. The 15-year-old said that she was going to the local Co-op but did not return home.

Officers have received information that Martina could be trying to travel to Ireland and is the company of an adult male.

It is also possible that she will travel via the Edinburgh area but this has not been confirmed.

Martina’s family members, along with officers, are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and urge anyone who has seen or heard from her to contact police.

She is described as white, around 5ft 1ins, with brown eyes and long brown hair with blonde ends. She was last seen wearing a grey top with the word ‘pink’ written on it, black and grey shorts and red Nike trainers.
