Police name victims of triple Leeds tragedy

Police have today named the three people found dead at house in Leeds following a fire.

They are Joanne Marie Semple, 36, Kelly Taylor-Hackett, 28, and Stephen Fitzgerald, 18.

All were living at the address in East Park Street at the time of the incident at around midday on Sunday.

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Scott, of West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: “We are still conducting detailed enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding their deaths, which were as a result of a fire at the property.

“Clearly the deaths of three people in such sudden and tragic circumstances have left their families devastated and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.”
