Detective Inspector Dave Boldison said: "We are currently treating the incident as unexplained and are working to piece together the hours and minutes prior to James' death.

"From our enquiries so far we know that James visited the Asda store in Dewsbury around 9.30pm the previous evening, but after that point we have no further sightings of him until he was discovered on Wednesday morning."

Urging the public to provide information, Det Insp Boldison added: "It's crucial that anyone who saw Mr Lee comes forward because it will help us build a picture of his whereabouts between leaving the Asda store and heading towards Ravensthorpe rail station."
