Police searching for missing Bridlington man find body

Humberside Police said a man’s body had been found at a caravan park in Withernsea yesterday evening following a call from a member of public.

Officers said the man had not yet been formally identified but said the family of missing Bridlington man Andrew Londesborough had been informed.

In a statement the force said: “Formal ID is yet to take place although officers have made the family of missing Bridlington man Andrew Londesborough aware.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious.

“We would like to thank the public for their help in sharing our appeal information.”
