Police searching for missing Whitby man find a body

Police searching for a missing Whitby man have located a body.

Mervin Hill, 60, had not been seen since 10am on Sunday when he went for a walk.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Police searching for missing Whitby man Mervin Hill have located the body of a man. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances. His family have been informed.”
