Police to see roadside drug tester demo

Roadside drug-testing equipment will be demonstrated to police in Bradford later this week.

Legislation to pave the way for drivers to be tested for drug use at the roadside was included in the Queen’s Speech and the Home Office is testing analysis equipment, including a Drugalyser developed by Draeger Safety UK, working in partnership with Modern Health Systems, of Baildon.

Police officers and road safety groups will be at Friday’s demonstration in Bradford.
