Police sergeants banned from driving over motorway reverse
Two Yorkshire police officers were banned from driving for a year for reversing on a motorway to avoid a traffic jam.
The sergeants claimed they reversed on the M606 to assist other officers at the scene dealing with the aftermath of a crash.
