Police are trying to trace a motorist after a teenager was hurt following a crash in Bradford.

The collision between the boy and a car happened on St Enoch’s Road, close to the junction with Wibsey roundabout, at around 8.15pm on 14 August.

The woman driving the car stopped to ask if the 14-year-old boy was okay after the crash, and he told her to he was.

However, when he was later taken to hospital doctors discovered he had a fracture to his right foot.

PC Kevin Shaw, of the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team, said: “The driver is unlikely to know the boy she was in collision with suffered a serious injury, so I would urge her to get in touch so we can make further enquiries.

“I would also ask for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the events prior to it to contact the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101, quoting log reference 2058 of 14 August.”
