Police warn public to stay away from Kirkstall car event
Police are advising people not to attempt to attend an unauthorised car event in the car park of Morrisons in Kirkstall this weekend.
West Yorkshire Polices have been made aware of the “Mega Car Meet” event being promoted on social media as due to take place on the car park of Morrisons, Savins Mill Way, Kirkstall, at 5pm on Sunday, April 3.
Morrisons has not given permission for any such event and will be putting measures in place to ensure the site is secured and that normal business is not affected.
Police will be liaising with Morrisons and monitoring the area and will take any appropriate action, including consideration of vehicle seizures where necessary.
