Investigating officer Det Supt Sukhbir Singh hopes the video will encouarge fresh information. He said: "By filming this You Tube video and utilising the world-wide-web, we hope the appeal will reach a wider audience."

"The information we have previously received has indicated that Shahid Mohammed could be living in Pakistan. We know he also has strong links with London, Birmingham, and Leicester.

"With this in mind, I call particularly on the family, friends and associates of Shahid Mohammed and the wider community to watch the video and consider the impact that this incident continues to have on the Chisti family.

"People may have protected or assisted Shahid in evading arrest and I specifically want to appeal to them.
