IT has been generally acknowledged that what the country needs today is a Labour Party that is able to provide an effective opposition to the extremes of the Conservative Party.

This we haven’t got, mainly due to the actions and decision- making of the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn who has pledged his support to the Remain side in the coming referendum.

He seems incapable of recognising that he could be relinquishing the opportunity of claiming David Cameron’s scalp, and more importantly could be banishing the Labour Party to the political wilderness for a century or more.

The validity to the above analysis lies in the fact that the EU, unlike many of the current pundits have predicted, is not going to break up in the short term.

Should the Remain side win the referendum, the EU will
not respond to the wishes of
the Labour Party, which
basically is to have a party of the Clement Attlee / Hilary Benn mould.

Thus, logic I would suggest, points to each Labour voter voting to support the Leave side.
