Power bid at No 10
A call for solar panels to be installed at 10 Downing Street was made by students and teachers from North Yorkshire.
The group handed in a report written by schoolchildren on tackling climate change.
But a Downing Street spokesman said the move was not possible owing to the building’s listed status.
