ELVIS Presley fan Mark Camplin is planning his dream wedding – and a honeymoon to Graceland – after winning 250,000 on a National Lottery scratchcard.

The self-employed joiner of Goldthorpe, Barnsley, decided to buy the scratchard from his local Co-op store while on his way to meet friends in the pub. Later, the 43-year-old scratched the card and thought he had won 250 – before realising he had then scooped the top prize.

He now plans to put some of his 250,000 winnings towards his forthcoming wedding to fiancee Donna Duorse, a supervisor at the Co-op store where he bought the winning scratchcard.

Mr Camplin said: “It really is a life-changing amount of money for me and Donna and we will be able to have an amazing wedding and honeymoon as a result of the win.

“I’m house-hunting at the moment as it would be great to buy somewhere before Christmas. I also want to buy a new car – once I’ve passed my driving test.”
