The striking portraits by the award-winning photographers, Jennifer Robertson and Lynne Fletcher of Kyte Photography, feature a range of personalities and high profile names from around the county, many of whom, like Dickie, are from the town.

The collection of 38 images also include Dame Judi Dench, who is from York, Sir Patrick Stewart, who hails from Mirfield in Kirklees, Mexborough-born Brian Blessed and Bradford artist David Hockney.

Yorkshire Made Me includes information about the people in the pictures, their achievements, success and their pride to be born in Yorkshire.

The exhibition affirms powerfully, that no matter how far Yorkshire men and women travel, in distance, stardom and success, they are forever shaped by their place of birth and are intensely proud to belong.

The exhibition runs until Saturday October 31.
