Prince and the proud winners

Prince Charles joking with Russell Brand at the 2010 Pride of Britain Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, last night.

Award-winners included a 12-year-old girl from Doncaster who saved seven children when a bin on fire exploded and a man from Leeds who turned his life around to inspire disadvantaged youths. Aimee Dempsey was burned as she worked to save others from serious harm and Nathan James, 27, abandoned his criminal past to work with others trapped in the cycle of unemployment and crime.
