Prisoner back in custody and facing charges for robberies on the run
Eithan Teanby, 40, was arrested in Nottingham City Centre in the early hours of Sunday, two weeks after he absconded while on weekend release from HMP North Sea Camp in Boston.
Teanby has now been charged with two robberies, an attempted robbery and two counts of possession of a bladed article.

This was followed by an attempted robbery at a Santander Bank in Nottingham on May 29, and the following day by a robbery at a Halifax Bank in Bulwell, Nottingham.
Teanby’s release was criticised by Scunthorpe MP Nic Dakin after it emerged he was serving 10 years and eight months for robbery, GBH and assault when he was let out of jail to visit relatives.
The Post Office put up a £10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever was responsible for the Scunthorpe robbery.

She said she had just received a card from him, saying: “Love you always.”
