Police have launched an investigation into the sudden death of a baby at a Yorkshire holiday resort.

Officers from North Yorkshire Police were alerted by staff at Scarborough General Hospital at 8am yesterday over the unexplained death of the 14-month-old boy who had been staying in a caravan at the Flamingo Land Resort, near Malton.
