project kept in-house

In 2009, Kiplin Hall received a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to bring the woodland and pleasure grounds to life again and open them up to visitors.

Rather than call in consultants, it was decided it would be more sensible and economic to coach staff and volunteers to do the job themselves.

Anyone interested in joining the team of volunteers in the gardens and woodland at Kiplin Hall should call 01748 818178 or email [email protected] for an application form.

Experience is not essential – just bags of enthusiasm.

The Jacobean hall near Catterick is open to visitors Sunday to Wednesday from 2-5pm until the end of this month. The gardens are open on the same days from 10am.
