Protesters may target funeral for Thatcher
The funeral of Baroness Thatcher will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral next Wednesday amidst a wave of sombre pomp and ceremony.
The longest-serving Prime Minister of the 20th Century will be afforded the same status as leading members of the Royal family with a ceremonial funeral with full military honours.
The Queen has announced she will break with long-standing convention and attend the funeral in person, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh.
But there are fears anti-Thatcher protesters may target the event.
