Protests over Rigby accused
The two men accused of murdering soldier Lee Rigby, Michael Adebolajo, 28, and Michael Adebowale, 22, briefly appeared together in a court dock for the first time yesterday at the Old Bailey.
The pair are also each accused of attempting to murder a police officer on the same day, and conspiracy to murder a police officer. It sparked protests outside court against Islamic culture by war veterans, BNP members and the English Defence League. The case was adjourned until Thursday.
