£270,000 bill to replace surgeon in botched ops
A Yorkshire hospital trust spent £270,000 on employing a locum doctor to stand in for a surgeon who was suspended after botching numerous operations.
Puvaneswary Markandoo was sent home on full pay after 35 women came forward to complain about problems following their breast surgery.
