£82m up for grabs inEuroMillions jackpot

A single ticket-holder could win the second biggest jackpot ever seen in the UK in tonight's EuroMillions draw.

The estimated 82m prize is just short of the record 84.4m scooped in May by a single winner, who remains anonymous.

Ten Britons have won EuroMillions jackpots totalling 34m since June last year.

A National Lottery spokesman said: “It has been an amazing few months for big winners here in the UK. Hopefully we can add another to our Rich List this Friday.

“With 82m to play with, you could share your wealth with all your friends and family and still have plenty left to change your own life beyond your wildest dreams.”

According to The Sunday Times Rich List 2010, an 82m winner would be richer than the Gallagher brothers from rock group Oasis, both worth 55m, and Sir Cliff Richard, worth 50m.
