Recycling boom on paper at university

Paper recycling rates at the University of Sheffield have

increased by almost 600 per cent in the space of a year.

The institution recycled 22 tonnes of paper waste in 2008, but the total was 154 tonnes last year, accounting for more than half the total weight of waste it recycled last year.

The work is part of a wider project to change the behaviour of students and staff and the university.
