Remand over 'warmemorial outrage'

The case of a man accused of urinating on a war memorial was adjourned yesterday.

Ian Marshall, 49, appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court charged with outraging public decency. He was charged with the offence after police were called to a report of a man urinating on the memorial in Headingley, Leeds, on November 27.

Marshall, of Gill Lane, Rawdon, Leeds, was granted unconditional bail.
