A retired company director hopes to exhibit the replica he built of a Jaguar sports car at The Yorkshire Post Motor Show and Classic Car Rally.
David Nutt spent two years working on the Broomstick replica of the 1950 prototype Jaguar XK120, assembling the kit car and adding parts sourced from car boot sales and auto jumbles.
Mr Nutt, 77, first came across Broomstick Cars in a magazine article.
He said: “I could not believe it was possible to build such an accurate copy of the original car. So I placed an order within two weeks.”
