Many of the current dancers are leaving the team to go to university so there are a number of vacancies to fill.

The annual audition will take place on Wednesday, September 28 at 7pm in the Café Bar at Headingley Stadium.

A Leeds Rhinos spokesman said: “We are looking for experienced, skilled dancers aged 17 and over to become part of the team performing at home games.

“During the audition dancers will learn a choreographed routine to be performed back to the judging panel, dancers that pass this round will need to dance again and be interviewed, we would love to see any other skills the dancers have such as tumbling and flipping.

Dancers should bring a head shot, dance based cv and proof of age along to the audition with them.”
