Ringing endorsement for sport

Team GB swimmer Anne Bochmann with pupils Maya Densley, 6, and William Sykes, 7 as she visited a school in Leeds yesterday to inspire youngsters to take up sport.

With the Olympics just a few months away the swimmer was at Chapel Allerton Primary School in Harrogate Road, Leeds, for a visit organised by The Wells Sports Foundation, set up to encourage greater participation of young people in sports.

She took part in the school assembly and workshops and helped with swimming coaching.

“This was my last Athletes 4 Schools visit of this year so I intended to make the most of it and really push the all round benefits of swimming,” she said. picture: james hardisty
