Rise in takeaway orders at hospitals
There has been a rise in
internet searches for takeaways
in UK hospitals, research
suggests, with Leeds General Infirmary among those registering most.
Analyses of the IP addresses of around 200 individual hospitals found a 347 per cent rise in one year in the number of takeaway searches and online orders placed.
The work by a voucher code website could not specify whether patients or staff were responsible.
