Road and rail chaos as snow hits region
Yorkshire was hit with more heavy snowfall as forecasters confirmed last night that Britain is experiencing its coldest winter for more than 30 years.
The weather caused transport problems around the south of the region yesterday as it disrupted roads and rail services.
