Roadworks hit travel plans for Leeds-Spurs match
WEST Yorkshire Police is urging football fans to allow extra time to get to tonight's FA Cup match between Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road due to roadworks and expected poor weather.
Two lanes at the bottom of the exit slip road of Junction 1 of the M621 leading onto the A6110, and one lane of the junction's roundabout, are currently closed.
In addition, around 10,000 more supporters than usual will be travelling to the sell-out match and the Met Office has forecast snow for this evening.
