Rugby ace tries for a close tie

School houses are often named after leading figures who best represent the ethos of a school ... and at Carr Manor High, in Leeds, the city's rugby hero Jason Robinson, above, has now joined Yorkshire legends Fred Trueman, Billy Bremner and Jane Tomlinson.

Yesterday Robinson house was officially launched by the rugby star himself. Robinson, a star in both rugby codes, was born in Leeds and launched his career playing for Hunslet.

He made his name playing for Wigan and Great Britain at rugby league before transferring to union where he became a key part of England's world cup winning team in 2003.

He is seen above with a tie in the new house colours.
