Rural Yorkshire in line for fast broadband pilot scheme

Public subsidies for fast broadband could be trialled in rural North Yorkshire after a bid was submitted to the Government. Ministers are looking for areas to test a scheme for fast connections in remote areas, with a host of market towns in North Yorkshire in the running.
